Internationally famous pool party returns to Las Vegas

With spring sprung and the arrival of summer imminent, the festivities are getting into full swing in the world’s most famous city of extravagance, Las Vegas.

Adding to the excitement of an eventful summer season will be the weekly REHAB pool party and concert series, hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel in the jewel of the North American desert, now entering its seventh year of attracting those choosing flights to Las Vegas.

The events regularly attract more than 4,000 guests on Sundays, with revellers catching A-list entertainers whilst sunning and swimming.

Chief marketing officer of the hotel Phil Shalala said the pool party is an “ultimate destination for the world’s most beautiful, stylish, and affluent people from all over the world.

“We’ve been looking forward to the summer of 2010 for two years now, knowing that our multi-million dollar expansion would be complete.”

With each passing season, the REHAB event continues to expand in both attendance and revenue, and draws the biggest names in the music business.

This season, which begins 18 April, kicks off with hip hop and pop music icon Wyclef Jean – famous for founding rap pioneers The Fugees, along with a string of solo successes and producing credits – headlining a high profile show.

The weekly celebrations will continue throughout September, with a similar calibre of talent visiting the stage every Sunday. The series also coincides with the filming of the popular reality TV show “REHAB, Party at the Hard Rock Hotel.”
