Quickly following the announcement of an all-new water show at its sister theme park in Orlando, Florida, the San Diego Sea World has announced its own new attraction for 2012 – the Manta rollercoaster.
Long a popular attraction for family holidays in San Diego, officials of Sea World said the Manta rollercoaster was designed to bring guests of the park from idly watching the stunning sea creatures on display in the parks many aquariums to experiencing the sensations of being under the sea.

Forecasts delivered by a report from the European Travel Commission have found some good news for the continent, as Europe should expect a 3 per cent increase in overnight travellers as more visitors enjoy business travel or holidays in 2011.
The ETC’s Trends and Prospects report indicated there will be increased interest in Europe as a long-haul destination in 2011 and 2012 as worldwide markets continue to recover and holidaymakers have more to spend on getaway’s to the continent’s most famous cities, including Paris and Rome.

Holidaymakers have yet another reason to visit the Caribbean island nation of St Lucia – if the golden beaches and crystal clear waters weren’t enough – as one of the island’s resorts has been named the World’s Leading Spa by Conde Nast Traveller magazine.
The Conde Nast Traveller awards were held recently at the Corinthia Hotel at Whitehall Place in London, with tourist organisations of all types as well as from destinations all over the world, representing their home territories.
