The recently-opened Mint Hotel Amsterdam has been awarded four AA stars, as well as gaining an AA rosette for its ‘City Café’ restaurant. The restaurant is the first hotel in Amsterdam to achieve these accolades.
“We are absolutely delighted to receive Four Stars and one AA Rosette at our latest and first international hotel, Mint Hotel Amsterdam,” said David Orr, Chief Executive and Co-founder of the Mint Hotel.
“The AA is internationally recognised as a credible assessor of hotels and restaurants that has a rating system appropriate to modern customer’s needs and expectations. We are delighted to be the first hotel in Amsterdam to be assessed by the AA.”
City Café is run by Marcel de Leeuw, the Executive Head Chef, and offers high-quality, modern British influenced menus. Al fresco dining is provided on the south-facing terrace, which overlooks the waterfront and Old Town district. City Cafe is just one of impressive dining options at the Mint Hotel Amsterdam, which also offers guests the choice of the Eastdock Lounge, the stylish rooftop Skylounge and the Lobby Bar.
Located at the front of the new ODE development in the city centre, Mint Hotel Amsterdam is adjacent to Centraal Station and just a 15 minute train ride from Schiphol Airport, so it’s conveniently placed for anyone visiting Amsterdam on business or pleasure.
The hotel has 553 modern guest rooms and suites, all with outstanding facilities. Some suites have private balconies and outdoor terracing overlooking the city, and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel.
